A dress that is basically black will indeed be slimming but no doubt boring as well. Therefore adding a punch of color to your long sleeve dresses just may be the fashion answer you’ve been looking for.
What about a pair of bright red shoes to go with your outfit? Red is always hot and if you add a spark of color to your dark dresses everyone who looks at you will feel their eyes instantly drawn to your shoes. The same is true of a scarf or a handbag in a bright hue. Pair these with your black long sleeve dresses and you’ve got a knock-out look.
Don’t make the mistake of thinking that you can only wear these types of outfit when the snow is flying. They are completely acceptable on a cool spring or fall day as well. As women, when we find an article of clothing we like and one that looks good on us, we’ll try our best to wear it whenever we possibly can.
