Leg Waxing

If you want to test your human endurance, you should try leg waxing. If this is something that you already do all of the time, then my hat’s off to you. I have done this exactly once, and I really couldn’t understand why anyone would want to do it once or twice a week. Someone told me that leg waxing was the best way to go because the results lasted for weeks. I must have something wrong with me because the hair was back within a few days, and the redness from the first session had yet to totally go away.

Leg waxing must have been invented as a form of torture. Somewhere out there, a man is still laughing. It’s something that no women should ever have to go through unless they have no feeling in their legs whatsoever. Maybe it was just the leg waxing kit that I bought, but it was not only painful, it wasn’t very easy to do. The kit I got had a roll on that you warmed up in the microwave, and then rolled on to your legs like deodorant. Then you apply the strips and yank away. I may have screamed for five minutes after I yanked the first strip off. I knew there was some pain, but this was ridiculous.

I know that waxing is a good thing. I get my eyebrows done, and though there is some pain I can most definitely deal with it. It might be that they have better stuff to work with, I don’t really now. I do know that you won’t catch me buying another leg waxing kit unless they suddenly stop making razors and there is no other way in the world to remove hair. If that day ever comes, I hope it doesn’t come within the span of my lifetime.

I may just have sensitive skin, and that may be why leg waxing is not for me. If you can do it and you don’t have any problems, then more power to you. It’s not just the pain either, once you are done with leg waxing; you have piles of left over wax on various parts of your body that is very hard to get off. If you can deal with this, I salute you. In the end, you have to admit that waxing takes twice as long as shaving; I don’t care what the advertisements say.
