Infant pageant dresses

Everyone adores babies. The most cynical among us still can not get enough of their adorable antics. Yet many people frown on the idea of infant pageants. They have no problem with the idea of dressing their daughters up in flower girl dresses and sending them down the hall as part of the wedding party, but they can not even stand the idea of infant pageant dresses.

I guess they somehow view it as a form of exploitation to put little girls in infant pageant dresses and enter them into beauty contests. I do not see how this is exploitation. Girls love playing dress up, and infant pageant dresses allow them to do just that. If they get the chance to put on makeup and go in front of a bunch of admiring viewers, so much the better. My little Susie can not wait to put on her special occasion dresses. No matter what the event is – a wedding, a party, a holiday get together, or an infant pageant – she is thrilled to be able to attend. Why should I take that away from her?

Of course, I am the one who gets to pick out the infant pageant dresses. I tried letting her chose what she wanted to wear, but it did not work out that well. I guess that makes sense, though. She is a very young girl. She can barely talk. How can she be expected to chose her own clothing? Of course, she does have some say in the infant pageant dresses that she wears. Let us just say that she has veto power. There is just no way for me to get her to wear a dress that she does not want to wear. I would have to fight with her for the better part of an hour to make her. Infant pageant dresses are just not worth that much work!

When picking out infant pageant dresses, it is important to keep up with all of the current fashions. There are many adorable little kids at a toddler pageant, so the judge will not make his or her decision on that alone. Poise and fashion usually make the biggest difference. If someone does not have the look, she will not get the prize. This is every bit as true for little kids as it is for adults. A little girl must always look confident and pretty in her infant pageant dresses.
